Coach Knarr
Boy’s Head Coach
Coach Knarr has been involved with the Knightmare Rugby program since 2013 as both an assistant and head coach. Knarr has coached the Knightares to both of their 15s State Championship in spring 2018 & 2023, while reaching state quarterfinalist 7s appearance fall 2018. Knarr played for the Lancaster/York Roses from 2012-2016 when an injury forced him to retire early. Before playing for the mens club, Knarr played for the Millersville University Rugby Club from 2008 in 2012. He is also a 7th grade facilitator at Pequea Valley Intermediate School and an assistant coach for the Pequea Valley High School football program.

Nicole Deeley
Girl’s Head Coach
Nicole Deeley is a Knightmare alumna who was invited to help assist Joe with coaching the younger players while injured and then never stopped. She is now a USA Rugby Level 1 Coach. She continues to learn as much as she can about coaching rugby and focuses on learning strategy, fundamentals, and technique to help fuel her coaching ability. She has recently become the Head Coach of the Girl’s 15’s Team and has been a key to the team being as successful as they are today.
Anthony Pepe
Anthony started coaching with Knightmare Rugby in the fall of 2020, assisting with the girl’s 7s team. In 2021, he moved to the boys team, assisting with 7s and 15s. Anthony has played 7s for the Lancaster/York men’s club, Roses Rugby, since 2017, and he previously played 15s for the Roses as a flanker and wing from 2017 to 2020. He is a Senior Advisor with Value Capture, LLC, coaching healthcare leaders to pursue habitual excellence.

Joe CApp
Girl’s Head Coach
Joe Capp has become a staple in the Knightmare coaches lineup. He has been running the Knightmare Girl’s Program since its first season in 2006. His extensive years as a player and coach have mad him an invaluable member of the team; training many young players in the basics of rugby. He was awarded the Rugby PA Coach of the Year award in the spring of 2024. His focus on hard work,, fundamentals, and fitness have shaped the Knightamres into the team they are today.
