Return to Rugby During the Covid-19 Pandemic

As of March 15th, 2020, all rugby functions by the Knightmare Rugby club have been postponed and cancelled. Recently U.S.A Rugby has released guidelines for a return to play. The first step is to follow all state and local authorities in the allowance of sports. We will be following these steps, as well as RugbyPa’s guidance and hopefully will be back out on the field for this coming fall season.

Fall 7s Is Upon Us

Rugby 7s

Join the fastest growing team sport in the U.S.

The 2018 Fall Rugby 7s season will be starting up at the end of August.  We will hold our informational meeting on Sunday August 26th, @ 2pm at the Centerville Rd. rugby pitch.  Our first practice of the season will be Tuesday September 4th, from 6-8pm at the Centerville Rd. pitch.

Players must be registered (CIPPed) with RugbyPA before they can participate in practice.  This cost will be approximately $70.  Registration with our umbrella club Penn Legacy will open on August 10th.  More information on both can be found at www.pennlegacy.org/rugbyfc.html.

For fall 7s, all that is required is a pair of spikes (non-metal).  Rugby shorts, socks, and mouthguards will be provided by the club.  Practices will be held Tuesday/Thursday evenings, with the occasional Sunday morning practice (practice schedule can be found under the events page).  Once the fall 7s tournament schedule is released by rugbypa, this schedule will also be added to the events page.

If you have any questions, please contact us at Knightmarerugby@gmail.com.
